As the COVID-19 Global Pandemic continues, ESIG is preparing to manage our in-person events with the health, safety, and well-being of our attendees in mind. ESIG is committed to providing a safe, productive, and welcoming environment for our attendees.
We will continue to monitor and update safety precautions for our spring events regularly and coordinate with trusted national resources, state and local public health agencies, and the hotels/venues hosting our events.
Vaccine Requirement
ESIG leadership has decided that all participants at the in-person 2022 Spring Technical Workshop and Spring O&M Users Group Meeting, whether a presenter, attendee, staff or guest will be required to be fully vaccinated. “Full vaccination ” means that either 14 days have passed since receiving the second dose of FDA or WHO authorized (or emergency use authorized) double-dosed vaccines or single-dose vaccine. Proof of vaccination will be required to register for both of our spring events.
Attendees will be required to attest to their vaccination during the registration process and upload an image of their vaccine card during the online registration process.
Please note: All those who qualify for a booster prior to the time of the workshop are strongly encouraged to receive a booster before attending the workshop.
Hand Sanitizer Stations
We will have hand washing facilities and/or sanitizing systems easily accessible to everyone throughout the event.
Spacing Measures
Social distancing practices will be implemented according to all venue, local and state guidelines.
No Contact Policy
To assist in minimizing potential physical contact, elbow bumps are a great alternative to handshakes.
