Webinar Abstract: NREL advances the science and engineering of energy efficiency, sustainable transportation, and renewable power technologies and provides the knowledge to integrate and optimize energy systems. NREL’s campus in Golden, Colorado is home to the Energy Systems Integration Facility (ESIF), which provides a unique contained and controlled platform on which our partners can identify and resolve the technical, operational, and financial risks of integrating emerging energy technologies into today’s environment. At ESIF, NREL offers partners access to an award-winning, state-of-the-art lab space and specialized scientists and engineers to help move new technologies forward.
During this webinar, Greg will give a presentation highlighting the capabilities of the ESIF, as well as how partners can utilize the facility for their own research. Following the brief presentation, there will be an in-depth discussion and feedback session to share what you believe to be the value of the ESIF and what added capabilities could benefit industry and the research community at a larger scale.
