This presentation will cover: \n\nBackground on the drivers for these recommendations\nThe basic components of what these requirements should look like\nA practical discussion of what is involved in ensuring submitted models are appropriate and useful\nA practical discussion of the challenges involved in implementing such requirements\, including schedule impacts\, human resource constraints\, and acquisition of new skills.\n\n\nAbout the Speaker: Andrew Isaacs is Vice-President of Electranix\, where he has been since 2003. He specializes in renewable interconnections\, weak grid and SSR/SSCI issues\, and large scale EMT system modelling. Additional current efforts include specification and support for FACTs\, training for utility planners\, strategic consulting\, and study team leadership.
