Webinar: Interregional Transmission Targets in Europe – How ENTSO-E does it
November 28 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am EST
Featured Speaker: Peter Markussen, Senior Director, Energinet
About the Webinar: Europe has significant interregional transmission, with about tens of GW of interregional transfer capability built during 2008-2022. MW Targets are established between TSOs and on average, 70% of the capability of these interconnections is required to be available in the day-ahead and intra-day markets. In this webinar, Peter Markussen of Energinet will discuss how Europe set these targets, why there is support for interregional transmission, what worked and what didn’t and how costs are allocated.
