G-PST Pillar 3: Foundational Workforce Development Materials
Led by Imperial College London, the Global Power System Transformation Consortium’s (G-PST) Pillar 3 efforts focus on workforce development to enable power system transformation at both the university and professional levels. A core group of power system academics, G-PST’s Teaching Agenda Group, developed the G-PST Teaching Agenda that identifies priority power system engineering topics required for university graduates and power system engineering professionals to understand and meet the challenges posed by high penetration of variable renewable energy sources (VRE) and inverter-based resources (IBR) in power systems. G-PST’s Teaching Agenda topics are being developed into cutting-edge teaching and training materials which can be incorporated selectively into an existing curriculum or training program.

University of Minnesota CUSP Program 
The vision behind the University of Minnesota’s CUSP™ is to provide all the resources an instructor needs in teaching his/her own courses in the field of Electric Energy Systems with an emphasis on sustainability. This effort has been funded from various organizations including NSF, ONR (Office of Naval Research), NASA and EPRI and is totally free-of-cost under the Terms of Use conditions.
