About the Pre-Meeting Workshop (Separate Registration Required – Space Limited)

The pre-meeting workshop will address turbine end of life and repowering/life extension, with a focus on old towers and foundations, parts obsolescence, upgrades, and aspects of operating and maintaining turbines as they reach end of their useful life. So, don’t retire just yet – attend this workshop first! The workshop will be followed by a networking reception.

About the Plenary Session

By popular demand, the upcoming meeting will feature a plenary session on operations and maintenance of energy storage systems.  The session will feature three speakers, followed by a panel discussion with the full audience, to delve into the details of energy storage.  We will hear from experts, including experiences and lessons learned from an owner/operator of a large energy storage system.  You can expect a fully charged discussion at the session!

About the Roundtables

The heart of the meeting consists of manufacturer-specific roundtables for user group members only. The format consists of open discussions, moderated by Roundtable Chairpersons, centered on a specific wind turbine component or specific model of wind turbine. The Roundtables provide the opportunity for frank and open discussion among users, who share their information, knowledge and experience.

Participation in the Roundtables is limited to employees of ESIG member organizations that own, operate, or maintain wind generation equipment.

The Users Group also operates Roundtables focusing on Balance of Plant and Solar O&M issues.
