Friday, October 25
8:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Block Island Offshore Wind Tour
Extend your trip through Friday, October 25th and join us for our special excursion to tour the Block Island Wind Farm! We’ll depart the Omni Providence Hotel by 8:00 AM and head to Port Judith in Narragansett, RI, to catch our ride on a high speed ferry to the Block Island Offshore Wind Farm. We expect to be back to Providence before 12:30 PM, so please plan your departure travel accordingly.
*Please note: There is a possibility that the ferry will not be able to make the trip on our planned day due to inclement weather or unfavorable sea conditions. If this occurs, you will be refunded.

Please Note: The Integrated Planning Workshop on Monday, October 21; the Interconnection Standards Workshop, Markets for 100% Clean Electricity Workshop, and Working Group meetings on Thursday, October 24; and the Block Island Tour on Friday, October 25, require separate registration as they are not included in the Technical Workshop registration.
Students are invited to attend the Fall Technical Workshop at no cost. We have a limited number of complimentary registrations available for current students. Additionally, a travel stipend is now available for students thanks to ESIG’s Sustaining Member, Polaris System Optimizations. The host hotel for the workshop is the Omni Providence Hotel.
The special ESIG room rate is $219 per night and the deadline to make your reservation is September 30, 2024.
