Mitsubishi: MWT1000A

Mitsubishi’s MWT-1000A series is represented by three-blade, upwind, horizontal axis wind turbines with a rated capacity of 1.0-MW, a nominal consumed reactive power of 0.460 MVAr (without shunt capacitors), a permanently connected shunt capacitor of 0.34 MVAr (0.29 MVAr shunt capacitor is connected during the wind turbine operation and 0.05 MVAr shunt capacitor is connected when the generator output is over 1 MW and is disconnected when the output is below 0.5 MW), and a step-up transformer with a capacity of 1.2 MVA (subject to owner’s preferences) and a reactance of 0.05833 pu (subject to owner’s preferences).
